Privacy

EMF Aware is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and works with clients in Canada, the United States and internationally. This notice describes what this website collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it.

If you contact us

This website has no contact form. The contact links open your own email program, so anything you send arrives as ordinary email. We use what you provide to respond to your inquiry, assess whether the project is a fit, and communicate about potential or active work. Please do not email sensitive medical information or confidential project documents until we have agreed on an appropriate way to exchange them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser and records information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you reached the site. We read this in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell or share it for advertising.

You can opt out at any time using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site requires cookies in order to work.

Hosting and security

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard technical information for every request, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare also provides a measurement service that does not use cookies. Email addresses shown on the site are obfuscated by Cloudflare to reduce automated scraping.

Cookies

The only cookies set by this website are the Google Analytics cookies described above. There are no advertising, retargeting or social media cookies. If you block or clear them, the site works normally.

Where your information goes

Google and Cloudflare are United States companies, and information described here may be processed outside Canada. Residents of Canada have rights of access and correction under applicable privacy legislation. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information.

Retention and your choices

Email correspondence is kept for as long as the inquiry or engagement requires, and afterwards as an ordinary business record. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in Google Analytics. To ask what we hold, request a correction, or ask us to delete your information, email hello@emfaware.com.

EMF Aware does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and does not guarantee health outcomes. Owners and project teams remain responsible for engaging appropriately licensed professionals, obtaining permits and approvals, and meeting applicable codes and contractual requirements.

Project profiles

Project information may be anonymized to protect client privacy. Design-stage profiles are identified as work in progress and should not be read as evidence of completed commissioning or measured outcomes.
