LOW-EMF NEW-BUILD CONSULTING
A coordinated consulting scope for owners and project teams who want EMF considered alongside the home’s other invisible systems.

Architecture, electrical infrastructure, mechanical equipment and occupied rooms considered as one coordinated system.
Service location, utility routing, room placement, equipment selection and control strategy can all affect the eventual electromagnetic environment. Once structure, wiring and finishes are in place, changing those decisions becomes slower, more disruptive and more expensive.
A generic product list cannot account for the relationships among this site, this floor plan, this equipment and the way this family expects to live. EMF Aware develops a project-specific design direction, then helps the team protect it through construction.
The work is informed by more than 1,000 completed residential assessments and a design/build portfolio ranging from compact and mobile homes to two luxury developments valued above $50 million. That breadth helps separate meaningful project decisions from generic rules.
THE CONSULTING PROCESS
The exact scope follows the project. The operating logic stays consistent.
Occupants, routines, priorities, technology preferences and project constraints.
External sources, utilities, plans, equipment and actual occupied positions.
Performance targets, priority rooms, wireless strategy and nighttime behaviour.
Electrical, lighting, HVAC, network, solar, utilities and shielding.
Team alignment, substitution review and rough-in inspection before closure.
Normal, nighttime and high-load testing, correction, retesting and handover.
Success criteria, priority-room hierarchy, wireless strategy and a practical decision framework.
System-specific recommendations written so architects, consultants and trades can use them.
Milestone observations, testing results, corrective actions and a handover operating guide.
We work in order: eliminate, separate, organize, optimize, then mitigate. That keeps the project focused on durable design decisions before adding specialty materials or products.
Pre-design or schematic design offers the most flexibility, but a project does not need to be at the ideal stage to benefit. We can enter during design development, electrical design, rough-in, or before occupancy and adjust the scope to what can still be changed.
No. EMF Aware adds a specialized low-EMF design and verification lens. We coordinate with the architect, engineers, builder and trades responsible for the project.
Yes. Plan review, design direction, consultant coordination and many equipment decisions can happen remotely. Field visits are scoped where hands-on inspection or measurement adds material value.
No. The aim is a comfortable, technologically capable home with intentional infrastructure, sensible operating modes and measured priorities—not blanket elimination of technology.
No. We define measurable project targets and verify conditions within the agreed scope. We do not promise medical or individual health outcomes.
