The design hierarchy

We work in order: eliminate, separate, organize, optimize, then mitigate. That keeps the project focused on durable design decisions before adding specialty materials or products.

When to involve us

Pre-design or schematic design offers the most flexibility, but a project does not need to be at the ideal stage to benefit. We can enter during design development, electrical design, rough-in, or before occupancy and adjust the scope to what can still be changed.

Do you replace the electrical engineer or electrician?

No. EMF Aware adds a specialized low-EMF design and verification lens. We coordinate with the architect, engineers, builder and trades responsible for the project.

Can the design work happen remotely?

Yes. Plan review, design direction, consultant coordination and many equipment decisions can happen remotely. Field visits are scoped where hands-on inspection or measurement adds material value.

Does low-EMF mean removing smart-home technology?

No. The aim is a comfortable, technologically capable home with intentional infrastructure, sensible operating modes and measured priorities—not blanket elimination of technology.

Are results or health outcomes guaranteed?

No. We define measurable project targets and verify conditions within the agreed scope. We do not promise medical or individual health outcomes.
